‘ The shifting of self consciousness is what
gives meaning and purpose to our lives.’
Our Story
Founded in Singapore in 1982, The Asian Leadership Institute has been providing wise counsel to executives in multinational corporations and Asian family businesses for more than 35 years. Most of our clients come to us
via recommendation or by referral, typically from previous or existing clients with whom we have an established track record of success. We prize our client’s confidentiality, but can provide references on request.

BRIAN BAUERLE
Brian trained as a professional psychotherapist, earning a postgraduate fellowship in psychoanalysis from the prestigious Menninger Foundation in the United States before moving to Asia in the 70s.
Five years spent as a monk in Tibet and Thailand gave Brian a deep experiential understanding of the fundamentals and essence of mindfulness training. He uses this unusual experience in a practical, yet provocative way that directly applies to business. He has worked closely with a wide variety of corporate and governmental institutions to design and implement strategies for organisational and personal change.
In recent years, he has focused more of his time working with large Asian family-run businesses, where family dynamics play a new and challenging role in the transformational process.
